Concession Cook

Position Summary The Concession Cook is responsible for the “heart” of our food service, preparing arena favorites with speed and consistency. You ensure that our guests receive high-quality, hot food even during the busiest intermissions and event rushes.
 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Operate grills, fryers, and ovens to prepare menu items such as burgers, tacos, and stadium snacks.

  • Quality Control: Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and presented according to arena standards.

  • Health & Safety: Maintain a spotless workstation, following all local health department guidelines and food safety protocols.

  • Inventory Support: Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify the Kitchen Lead when supplies are running low.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Certification: Valid Food Handlers License required.

  • Experience: Previous short-order or fast-food cooking experience is highly desirable.

  • Efficiency: Ability to work quickly without compromising food quality or safety.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

  • Environment: Hot kitchen environment; high-pressure “rush” periods.

  • Physical: Ability to stand for long periods and work near high-heat equipment.
