Bartender

Position Summary The Bartender is a key player in the arena’s hospitality team, responsible for crafting a high-energy atmosphere while serving beverages to our guests. You will ensure that every drink is served responsibly and efficiently, contributing to the overall guest experience during concerts, rodeos, and special events.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Beverage Service: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes and arena portions.

  • Licensing Compliance: Strictly adhere to TABC regulations, verifying legal drinking age and monitoring guest consumption to prevent over-intoxication.

  • Financial Oversight: Manage high-volume cash and credit transactions via the POS system; maintain an accurate and balanced drawer.

  • Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area, tools, and glassware sanitized and organized throughout the shift.

  • Guest Engagement: Provide friendly, fast-paced service while navigating a loud and crowded environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Certification: Valid TABC Certification and Food Handlers License required.

  • Experience: 1–2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume venue or nightclub.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

  • Reliability: Must be dependable for event-based scheduling, including late nights.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

  • Environment: High-volume, loud noise levels, and fast-paced interaction.

  • Physical: Ability to stand for 6–8 hours and lift up to 30 lbs (ice/cases).
